Ahhhh…. Wednesday. I know you’ve been checking on B+S, wondering when I was going to post another WWW Wednesday for you. It’s been so long, and I know you’ve been desperately waiting for me to give you another taste of the bookish meme that was made in your honor. Well guess what? You don’t have to wait any longer!
I bring to you… WWW Wednesday, the NetGalley(with a splash of A Darker Shade of Raven Boys) Edition!
Anyone who’s anyone in the book-blogging community know all about this weekly mash-up of the what’s what of the reading world. Buuut… just in case we have us a newbie to the community, let’s lay down how it works:
There are only 3 questions to answer, those are the only rules!

My NetGalley Books:
I’m fairly new to NetGalley, so I do realize that I don’t have much of an arsenal of backlogged books on NetGalley, but I still have 4 that I need to get through, and those on top of my already “Must Read Now” books, I got my hands full for the month of August! But I’m determined to make it happen. It’s actually a goal I’ve been wanting to achieve for a while, reading 6 books or more in a month. So this is my time to shine.
An eerie debut about a little boy who recovers from a sickness and inherits an imaginary friend who makes him do violent things…
How to Break an Evil Curse is the first book in a fantasy series about a princess who may be cursed to live in darkness, but refuses to let her curse define her life.
Life can exist anywhere. And anywhere there is life, there is home
That’s very ambiguous, so I’m just going to add that it’s a scavenging society in a toxic, wasteland environment Very Sci-Fi… I guess I was drinking wine that night I requested it.
Hetty Rhodes, a magic-user and former conductor on the Underground Railroad who now solves crimes in post–Civil War Philadelphia.
These books don’t need much of an introduction at all. We have the very popular A Darker Shade of Magic and we have The Raven Boys.
These are both books that have been lingering over my head forever, and I’ve already started reading them, so I want to get them completed with all of my other NetGalley reads.
Again, for me, this is huge! I can’t wait to see myself actually read all these books. It’s pretty exciting.

Check out my Review on this teenage witchy tale of black magic.

Check out my Review on this graphic novel about a witchy society where the longer the hair, the stronger magic.

Review is soon to come! August 9th to be exact! I’m a part of the TBR and Beyond Tours, and snagged an official stop on the Shielded Tour.

To be honest, I don’t have a clue where my reading will take me next at the moment. Everytime I try to plan to read a book, the agenda gets pushed back due to something more urgent to read first or whatever.
For now, I’m just going to leave it open-ended, and I’ll check with you guys later to see what the future holds. Deal?
Cool beans!

Oh myyyy. I’ve never heard of How to Break an Evil Curse, but that cover, man. I’m in love. <3 And you're reading The Conductors! *flails* I can't wait to pick that up, too.
I'm really feeling you with the whole trying to plan what to read next and it always going awry. I haven't had much luck lately with actually sticking to my planned reads, either. xD
oooh these books look so good!!! excited for you <3
I think I got Witchy with my OwlCrate and I really should read it soon. I hope you enjoy all of your reads and can keep to your goal of 6. Happy reading!
My WWW Wednesday post.
That’s where I got mine. OwlCrate.
I’m curious to see how We Hear Voices and The Conductors turn out to be! Very cool plots!
I started We Hear Voices tonight and it’s already creeping me out. I’m only like 5% in.
